Question: What did you edit out of EVERY DEADLY KISS?
Man, that’s a good question. Because of my approach to writing, I tend to rewrite quite a bit, taking scenes out and reinserting them or discarding them based on the context of the story and how it develops. I had this interesting scene with Tessa teaching a friend about poetry that I wasn’t able to use. In it, she compares writing a poem to kissing a cute guy rather than dissecting a frog. There just wasn’t a place for this scene in the book, but it’s a fun conversation, so we’ll see if it shows up in my next novel.
I HAVE HAD EYE SURGERY, CAN’T WAIT TO READ YOUR BOOK.
